The Dashboard is your command center — a single screen that gives you a real-time pulse on your business. Whether you want to track revenue, monitor outstanding invoices, or see how your technicians are performing, everything is here. This guide walks you through each section so you know exactly what you’re looking at and how to use it.
Date Range Filters
At the top of the Dashboard, you’ll find quick filter buttons that control the date range for most of the charts and metrics on the page. The options are:
- This Week — Sunday through Saturday of the current week
- This Month — the default view when you first load the Dashboard
- This Quarter — the current calendar quarter
- Year-to-Date — January 1st through today
You can also set a custom date range using the date picker in the top right corner if you need to look at a specific period.
| Important: Not everything on the Dashboard is tied to the date filter. The Status Overview and Accounts Receivable Aging sections always reflect real-time, system-wide data — regardless of which date range you’ve selected. Those sections are covered below. |
Status Overview
Just below the date filters, you’ll see a row of status counts for Quotes, Jobs, and Invoices. This section is always current — it shows the live count of every record in your system as of today, not filtered by date.
Every row in this section is clickable. Clicking a status opens a side panel showing the related records. From there, you can click into any individual record or hit View All to open a pre-filtered list page.
Here’s a breakdown of the statuses you’ll see:
Quotes Draft, Sent, Online Request (submitted via your booking links), Approved, Rejected, Canceled
Jobs Unassigned, Assigned, No Contact, Canceled, Expired, Completed
Invoices Draft, Due, Partial, Paid, Paid in Full, Past Due, Void
Tip: Online Requests come from booking links you create in Settings. See the Settings training video for more on setting those up.
Revenue Summary Cards
Below the status overview, you’ll find four summary cards. These are tied to the date range filter, so they update as you switch between This Week, This Month, and so on.
Quoted Value The total dollar value of all quotes sent to customers within the selected date range.
Invoiced Revenue The total value of all invoices that have been generated and issued to customers. Invoice drafts are excluded — only invoices that have actually been sent count here.
Received Revenue All payments collected during the selected period. This includes manual payments (cash, check) as well as any payments processed through Shwego’s credit card integration.
Average Revenue Per Job Your average invoiced amount per job for the selected period. A useful benchmark for tracking job profitability over time.
Revenue, Jobs, and Quotes Chart
Beneath the summary cards is a bar chart that gives you a visual breakdown of your activity over time. This chart is tied to the date range filter, and the bars adjust automatically:
- On a weekly view, each bar represents a day (Sunday–Saturday)
- On a monthly or quarterly view, each bar represents a week
- On a year-to-date view, each bar represents a month
Use the toggle above the chart to switch between three views:
- Revenue — total invoiced value per period
- Jobs — number of jobs completed per period
- Quotes — number of quotes issued per period
This is your bird’s-eye view of business activity. If you notice a dip in completed jobs or a spike in quotes that didn’t convert, this is the chart that’ll show you where to look.
Accounts Receivable Aging
The AR Aging chart shows you every dollar currently owed to your business. Like the Status Overview, this section is not tied to the date range filter — it always reflects what’s outstanding as of today.
The chart groups outstanding invoices into aging buckets:
| Bucket | What it includes |
|---|---|
| Current | Invoices that are not yet past due |
| Partially Paid | Invoices with a balance remaining (not paid in full) |
| Less than 30 Days Past Due | Invoices with a due date within the last 30 days |
| 30–60 Days Past Due | Invoices 30 to 60 days overdue |
| 60–90 Days Past Due | Invoices 60 to 90 days overdue |
| 90+ Days Past Due | Invoices more than 90 days overdue |
Clicking any bucket opens a list of the invoices in that group, sorted by days past due. You can click into any individual invoice from there and see the remaining balance.
Use this section regularly to stay on top of collections — the older a balance gets, the harder it is to collect.
Revenue and Jobs by Job Type
Further down the page, you’ll find two breakdowns by job type. Both are tied to the date range filter.
Revenue by Job Type shows how much you’ve invoiced, broken down by the type of job (drain cleaning, septic service, etc.). This helps you understand which services are driving the most revenue.
Jobs Completed by Job Type shows how many jobs were completed for each type in the same period. Pair this with the revenue view to spot your most efficient service lines.
Technician Leaderboard
At the bottom of the Dashboard, the Technician Leaderboard is also tied to the date range filter. It ranks your technicians by:
- Jobs Completed — total number of jobs finished in the period
- Revenue Invoiced — total dollar amount invoiced during that period
- Revenue Share — each technician’s percentage of total invoiced revenue
Clicking on any technician’s name opens a list of all the jobs they completed in that period, so you can drill down into the details.
This is a great tool for performance reviews, commission tracking, and recognizing top performers on your team.
